80% Receiver Blank Kits for all AK-47 variants!
All of our receiver blanks are made from 4130 normalized alloy, in 1.2mm (.050") thickness. This alloy is
20% stronger than the regular 4130 annealed you would find in a flat receiver, plus it is 20% thicker also,
which makes for a very heavy duty receiver!

WHAT RECEIVER DO YOU NEED?
For a standard AKM (stamped receiver) variant or AK-74 variant you want an AKM type receiver. This includes Romanian, Russian,
Polish, Bulgarian, Egyptian and some Yugoslavian kits (M92, AKM based M70). Includes sidefolders/underfolders/fixed stocks.
For YUGO RPK based kits (M70 variants) you need the RPK/Yugo receiver. Also Yugo 5.56 kits. Fits fixed or underfolder.
For RPK, RPK-74 kits you need the RPK/Yugo receiver. Russian, Romanian, Yugo, Bulgarian
For CHINESE kits you can use an AKM receiver, however you may or may not need to put shims between the receiver and trunnions as the
chinese receiver is a 1.5mm AKM type.
For MILLED receiver kits (Russian, Bulgarian, Yugoslavian, etc) you can build these on an AKM type receiver provided you machine down
the front/rear receiver stubs to act as trunnions inside the AKM receiver. Otherwise you have to find a new milled receiver somewhere-
which will be spendy.

AK ASSEMBLY BOLTS:
If you plan to screw together your AK, rather than rivet, this is
the set you want to use. Includes (8) 10-32 bolts for trunnions,
(2) 1/4-28 bolts for larger front trunnion hole near mag well,
(2) 10-32 bolts for (optional) center support, (5) 8-32 bolts
with special small size nuts for trigger guard/mag catch, and
(8) 6-32 bolts for attaching lower bolt rails.
The 1/4" bolts replace the swell neck rivet so you get
maximum threaded area versus using a 10-32. The 10-32 will
usually only get about half the hole threaded. The AK-47
typically has 2 swell neck rivets in front trunnion. The AK-74
typically has 4 swell neck rivets in front trunnion- contact me
if you need additional 1/4 inch bolts.
These bolts are hard to find in the thread sizes and lengths
needed.
3 Pages of instructions are included. Tapping of trunnions will
be required. (4) of the 10-32 bolts may need to be sanded to
length for front trunnion if you leave barrel in the trunnion. If
you dismount the barrel to do the tapping, they will be exact
length required.
